Space is a vibrant and high-growth sector and is an essential part of the global economy. It has revolutionised capabilities in areas such as international communications, global navigation and national security, and has also provided a way to monitor the Earth’s climate. It enables us all to enjoy the benefits of communication, entertainment, and mapping and managing our lives, virtually anywhere on the surface of our planet.

As costs of access to space have reduced and technologies have become much smaller and lighter, opportunities are opening up that at one time would have been unimaginable. In recent years, many “new space” startups have emerged from the U.S. as companies can commercialise the sector. Now “new space” or Space 4.0 is becoming a reality here in Europe. We want you to be a part of it!

WHAT WE DO

Our Mission:

To enable a new generation of space pioneers

Our Values:

Be visionary! Think big. Break down barriers to achieve the unexpected.

Our Vision:

A hub that spurs creativity and innovation within the space sector in Europe

To realise this vision we will:

  • create dedicated resources (through a range of articles, interviews, podcasts, reference materials) that will support aspiring entrepreneurs in creating a startup, identify barriers to entering the space market and encourage investors to get behind these initiatives.
  • portray entrepreneurs and technologies that are impacting the global space sector, help raise their profile and highlight the opportunities that are opening up in this ‘new space’ economy in Europe.
  • create a thriving community of events and field trips, bridging the gap between space, non-space, entrepreneurs and investors to drive innovation.
