My name is Ali Mattu. I’m a geek. I have a Ph.D. in clinical psychology. If I could get a Ph.D. in science fiction, I probably would have one of those too. I also like photography. Biking is cool too. You can read the rest of my bio here.
What’s this website about?
Star Trek gave my life purpose and direction. I hope this website will help other scifi geeks develop a love for the brain and behavioral sciences, just like Star Trek did for me.
Why “Brain Knows Better”?
Death Cab for Cutie is a great band and “A Lack of Color” is one of my favorite songs. It goes like this:

To me, “brain knows better” is a beautiful reminder of how wondrous the mind truly is.
