The DC Space Cafes typically take place on the second Tuesday of every month and begin at 7pm. The SpaceCafes are hosted by the Cotton & Reed, located at 1330 5th Street, NE, Washington, DC. Events are free; please support the venue by purchasing a drink.
Space Cafe Global promotes interdisciplinary space communication through monthly talks in DC, Tokyo, Luxembourg, and Brussels that are organized by space professionals and alumni of the International Space University

ISU Space Cafe started in Washington, DC in 2011 and expanded to Tokyo, Japan in 2016. We are happy to help new locations get started!

Tokyo Space Cafe holds monthly events on a middle Tuesday each month. Events are held at Good Heavens British Bar in Shimokitazawa. Doors open at 7:30pm; speakers start at 8pm. Tickets can be purchased at the door for ¥1500 yen and cover your first drink.
